Hair Stylist

Full or part time hours. Salary dependent on experience.

The Hair Salon at Kippie Lodge has built up an excellent reputation and client base.

As part of our team you will have proven experience as a Hairstylist qualified to SVQ Level 3 with at least 2-3 years experience. Working with Lanza products, you will be responsible for all aspects of hair care and you must have an excellent knowledge of hair colouring techniques and customer care skills.

Waiting Staff (Full & Part Time Posts)

We are looking for waiting staff to join our team at the end of August beginning September 2017.

You will be expected to provide a warm and friendly welcome to all our members and be attentive to their needs.

You will be responsible for taking food orders, cash handling and ensuring an exceptional food and beverage service is delivered at all times. The following key criteria and skills are required for this role:

  • Previous waiting experience within a restaurant, cafĂ© or bistro is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident and outgoing personality.
  • Exceptional service skills.
  • Have a flexible approach to work (weekend and evening work will be required).
  • Up to date food safety certificates and alcohol license training would be advantageous.
  • You must be aged over 18 as you will be required to serve alcohol.

Life Guard FT or PT hours

Permanent Position

The ideal candidate will hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and be studying towards or already completed a degree in sports and recreation or sports coaching.

Your rota will be 5 days out of 7, including weekend work. You must hold the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ). You must be a competent swimmer. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved in the Sports & Leisure Industry.

Responsibilities & Tasks include:

  • Supervise bathers within the pool hall during peak and off peak swimming.
  • Ensure that members of the Club use the equipment within the facility in a safe manner.
  • Check water temperature, pH and chlorine levels.
  • Set up pool equipment.
  • General cleaning in all parts of the Sports Complex, as instructed by the Sports Manager or Duty Manager.
  • Assist where necessary in other activities within the Club such as Kippie Kids Camp, Family Fun days or any other area of Kippie.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service in all areas of the Club by displaying a professional, positive and friendly manner to meet and welcome members and visitors when they enter the Club and deal with any requests they may have.
  • Attend regular NPLQ training sessions.

A valid NPLQ certificate

A valid First Aid at work certificate

Basic Child Protection certificate
